Design and building

Asus has done a good job of analyzing gamers’ demands and designing solutions to meet those needs. The Zen Book and Vivo Book series are minimalist in design, whereas the ROG line is all about RGB. With the TUF series, corporate has chosen a more covert approach, introducing a discreet yet gamer-friendly design. The laptop chassis is entirely made of hard plastic, and it does not feel as sturdy as the company advertises. As a result, the TUF A15 isn’t a slouch in that department. It has passed the MIL-STD 810H Military Grade test, which basically means that the laptop can endure a few drops and that the user can even turn off their gaming frenzy on it.

The laptop chassis, on the other hand, is composed of hard plastic and does not feel as durable as the firm advertises. In addition, the display board is linked by a wired flex. During my experience with the tablet, intense typing or holding an essential hand while gaming caused the display to waver noticeably. It wasn’t only inconvenient; it was also aggravating. The honeycomb pattern and airflow vents between the two hinges are two design elements you’ll like. Both of these elements contributed to the laptop’s staying cool even after extended use. The Asus TUF Gaming A15 has a basic industrial design. Although its engraved logo and “riveted” corners may not appeal to everyone and may raise some eyebrows in a stuffy boardroom, this laptop is widely used for gaming.

When you open it, you’ll see a faint geometric pattern on the palm rest and additional, generally appealing brushed-style textures. Meanwhile, the top bezel is rather thick and incorporates a high-definition webcam. While the design will be dark and subdued, the RGB keyboard will more than make up for it. The WASD keys are entirely translucent since the sides and letters of each key are lit. The Scrabble-tile keys are well-balanced and comfortable to use for long periods of time. It has a full number pad with significantly thinner keys, as well as smaller arrow keys.

The trackpad is accurate and smooth, with two distinct and well-weighted keys beneath it. A 240Hz IPS panel might be used, which delivers incredibly fluid gameplay for shooters and racing with minimum ghosting or blur. It becomes extremely bright, but the clarity in the highlights is lost at maximum brightness. It is, nevertheless, not a million miles away from feeling like HDR. Furthermore, the brightness helps highlight details in dark regions, making it tough for adversaries to hide in shadows.

Nonetheless, with rich colors and a vibrant screen, few will be let down by what’s on offer here. Overall, the Asus TUF Gaming A15 has a nice design and is easy to operate.

Battery life expectancy

We’ve grown accustomed to not expecting long battery life from gaming laptops, but the Asus TUF A15 outperforms in this category, with the PC Mark 10 battery life benchmark, which simulates moderate use, taking five and a half hours to empty the battery. That’s not a terrible thing for a gaming laptop, thanks in part to the AMD Ryzen 7 4800H’s energy efficiency, which uses less power than the more power-hungry Intel CPUs featured in many of these laptops.

While replaying a video isn’t the most difficult task, the TUF A15’s survival is remarkable. When it comes to gaming, though, the uptime drops to roughly two hours, depending on the game. That’s still pretty good, and it’ll get you through a short train ride. However, as with other gaming laptops, you should keep this plugged in while gaming.

Audio

The speakers on the deck’s left and right sides deliver clean and precise sounds. When I turned up the volume in Battlefield V, the bullets and speech, even distant voices, were crisp and realistic, but the gunshots did not bang as loudly or ominously as they did on other gaming laptops. The sounds of exploding grenades produced the proper crescendo, but lacked the volume and bass to really immerse me. I tried using the Shooter audio profile option in the supplied DTS: X Ultra software (which contains seven pre-configured profiles and an EQ), but there was no perceptible change. I experienced a similar experience with music.

Despite the fact that I was in a small flat, Joyner Lucas’ “Lotto” sounded crisp and accurate, yet it was way too quiet for partying. The instruments in the background music become more vivid and layered when switched to external speakers. Furthermore, the laptop’s DTS:X technology lets you listen to 7.1 simulated surround sound with a stereo headset. While having better audio on a low-cost pair of headphones is good, many of the most basic gaming headsets incorporate virtual surround sound.

Software and Warranty for Asus TUF A15 price in bd

Along with the normal Windows 10 garbage, Asus provides a few essential applications like Candy Crush Friends, Farm Heroes Saga, Groove Music, and Xbox programs. My Asus may be used as a system diagnostic tool, and Asus Armoury Crate displays system data like CPU and RAM consumption. The Armoury Crate also includes fan settings such as Windows, Silent (lower than 35dB for light workloads and enjoyment), Performance (default, less than 40dB), and Turbo (no restrictions).

A graph depicts the gains and losses in terms of cooling, noise reduction, and other factors. You’ll also customize the program so that your smartphone can control PC settings. You also get the previously stated DTS Headphone audio software (see the Audio section below) and DTS Sound Unbound for usage with paired stereo headphones and virtual surround sound.

Experiential Education

Given that the ASUS TUF Gaming A15’s name includes the term “TUF,” let’s start with its durability. To be honest, that was the first thing we did after unboxing it, so watch the review video (when it’s ready) to see how it turned out. You’re not going to flex your screen on purpose.

Moving on to the keyboard, even when I press very strongly, it flexes very little. During boss fights, it holds its own against annoying opponents, and we’re happy it can take an arrow (to the key). The key travel distance on the A15 makes typing quite pleasant. Despite not being a mechanical keyboard, it offers a tactile feel and a pleasingly subtle click sound. I like how the keyboard has FN shortcuts for important functionality like switching between Silent and Performance modes (FN + F5) and altering the Aura RGB settings (FN + Arrow Keys). Despite the fact that the trackpad is conventional in size, I wish Asus had made it a little larger.

It’s a touch choppy while scrolling, but given how young it is, I’m sure it’ll smooth out over time. Overall, I like having the ASUS TUF Gaming A15 as my primary laptop. It performs admirably in ordinary writing and on-line browsing duties. The display’s 144Hz refresh rate ensures a seamless gaming experience. Furthermore, when I transfer it from location to location while working from home, it does not break my wrist.

Ports

The TUF A15 comes with a plethora of ports. On the left, there are two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, an HDMI input, a USB Type-C port, a headphone/microphone connector, and an RJ-45 Ethernet port for a fast and dependable wired internet connection, which is critical for gaming. A USB 2.0 port and a Kensington lock slot are located on the left side.

There is no SD card slot, but it did not worry us because the port selection is excellent.

Summary of Asus TUF A15 price in BD

The Asus TUF A15 is one of the company’s newest laptops, appearing as part of the company’s recently unveiled gaming device portfolio. The TUF series is aimed at low-budget gamers, and the TUF A15 excels in more than one way. It blends a quality feel with great performance at an extremely low cost (for a gaming laptop). This year, the company updated their naming strategy as well as the design of their TUF series laptops in comparison to previous generations.

Last year, all of the TUF models had a strange naming scheme, with model numbers sprinkled about. Asus simplified things this year by releasing the TUF A15 and A17, the former having a 15.6-inch display and the latter having a 17-inch display. The TUF A15 is slightly hefty and not especially portable, but it serves its purpose: simple, lag-free casual gaming. The gamer feel and several features, such as Adaptive Sync, bring out even the most basic graphical activities.

The display could be brighter, the speakers could be louder, and the battery life could be greatly improved, but the average gamer looking for an entry into this market is unlikely to be bothered by these minor flaws. I can certainly say that the ASUS TUF A15 is one of the most straightforward options for entry-level gaming.
